Hi.
First up, yesterday's update.
Saturday, 24.01.09Went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ward 11D to visit my paternal grandma (who adopted my dad). She didn't look good. She was looking at the ceiling throughout. Her eyes didn't even blink..not even once..and I was there from 5+pm to 8pm..
Can you imagine? 3hrs+ without blinking? Actually, she was already like that before we reached.
Here breathing was slow. Her pulse was 93/94 When we just reached. It slowly went down. Just before we left the hospital, it was 91.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sunday, 25.01.09My dad brought our maid home. It's funny how my family isn't used to having a non blood-related person to stay with us so we treated our maid like a guest like "Do you want water?" / *sets up her sleeping place* etc..and she's like "nono no need.." Everything also no need o.o
2.23am I got a call from my uncle..he never called me before..
Him: Hello? Hariani..ni abang Hafiz..tell your dad to call my mum now..urgent.
Me: Huh? Ouh okok.
He sounded so awake while honestly, I already fell asleep.
Went to wake my dad up to convey my uncle's message. Smsed him.
Me: Btw ur not abg hafiz u're pangkat pakcik =x my sis went to bathe..sry bout that..is my dad calling yet? Naper ek? O.o
Him: Makcik lamah passed away a few moments ago.
Me: Ok thnx. My mum just told us also. Was there anyone at the hospi with her btw?
Him: Kak Normah and Firdaus.
Cik Normah is my aunt while Firdaus is my cousin.
I was just in a state of shock. So stunned I couldn't sleep. Neither could my sister..we left our room and our mum was outside so we talked to our mum about our late grandma for 1 hour or so.
Then sis and I got tired so we went to our bed and started rolling on our beds, trying to go to sleep.
I prolly only got 2 hours of sleep. Woke up, got ready and left for grandaunt's house coz the body is gonna be brought there. Ouh yea. Dad woke our Maid up at 3+am..apologized to her and told her bout my grandma and that my grandaunt needs help to prepare the house for the day.
So my dad and our maid left home at 3+am..poor bibik..she only had 1+hrs of sleep =/
Reached grandaunt's place at 9+am? Heard that there was a long queue for post mortem. WTF! We waited and waited. My grandma's body was probably brought back at 1+pm.
Bathed then last goodbye whereby family members are allowed to kiss the forehead of the deceased and the rule is that your tears should NEVER touch the deceased..if not, need to rebathe I think.
Although mum claims that grandma didn't take care of us, I still remember the little memories we shared since young till now. When I saw her I was a little shocked and started crying coz I was just feeling so damn sad.
Knowing what she went through. Seeing her die in that state. It's just so pitiful and like..I dunno how to say..it's just damn sad..
Heard my aunt talked to my other uncle Nasri. Heard she said that late grandma left the world right infront of her. You know the pulse thing I mentioned earlier..I heard she said she saw the thing keep getting lower and lower till it became nothing.
Then she talked to us about the post mortem. My grandma was transfered to SGH from Tan Tock Seng. Reached SGH at 8am. Post mortem was long queue so her turn was like 12+pm?
I couldn't go to the cemetery as I had no fate :(
Dear grandma. Please forgive me if I have ever done anything wrong to you. If I ever said bad things behind your back. If I ever did anything that hurt your feeling or just simply any wrong. I am so sorry and I hope you can forgive me. I too have erased every other thing that I had ever taken to heart.
Even if till your last breath you claim you only have one grandchild who is Firdaus, you are still our grandma to me and my sis..thanx for teaching our mum how to cook "Nasi Jagung"..it's a great recipe to pass down to the next generation.
Thanx for taking care of me and entertaining us when we were kids. I'm happy that you don't have to suffer THAT long but I still wished that you had gone to the hospital earlier :(
I learnt my lesson. No matter how scared you are, just go to the doctor without hesitation. Prevention is definitely better than cure.
I am ANTI-POSTMORTEM THEN, NOW AND FOREVER. I don't believe in torturing a body. What makes you think the body dont feel pain?? =.= I know you're afraid of foreplay but still..I dunno la I'm just anti..

Death Cert wrote cause of death: Advanced Rectosigmoid Carcinoma.
Date of death: 25.01.09
Time: 0203 hours.
She left us at the age of 70 years old.
I think the long term of cause of death means Advanced Colon/Upper part of Rectum Cancer..its a kind of cancer la coz she drastically lost weight so to the people out there, please dont do this to me..sick, go doctor ok..I hate post mortem..
And my mum got injured today =( Needa wait for doctors to open after CNY..urgh! =.=
