Went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ward 11D to visit my paternal grandma (who adopted my dad). She didn't look good. She was looking at the ceiling throughout. Her eyes didn't even blink..not even once..and I was there from 5+pm to 8pm..
Can you imagine? 3hrs+ without blinking? Actually, she was already like that before we reached.
Here breathing was slow. Her pulse was 93/94 When we just reached. It slowly went down. Just before we left the hospital, it was 91.

My dad brought our maid home. It's funny how my family isn't used to having a non blood-related person to stay with us so we treated our maid like a guest like "Do you want water?" / *sets up her sleeping place* etc..and she's like "nono no need.." Everything also no need o.o
2.23am I got a call from my uncle..he never called me before.. Him: Hello? Hariani..ni abang Hafiz..tell your dad to call my mum now..urgent. Me: Huh? Ouh okok.
He sounded so awake while honestly, I already fell asleep.
Went to wake my dad up to convey my uncle's message. Smsed him. Me: Btw ur not abg hafiz u're pangkat pakcik =x my sis went to bathe..sry bout that..is my dad calling yet? Naper ek? O.o Him: Makcik lamah passed away a few moments ago. Me: Ok thnx. My mum just told us also. Was there anyone at the hospi with her btw? Him: Kak Normah and Firdaus.
Cik Normah is my aunt while Firdaus is my cousin.
I was just in a state of shock. So stunned I couldn't sleep. Neither could my sister..we left our room and our mum was outside so we talked to our mum about our late grandma for 1 hour or so.
Then sis and I got tired so we went to our bed and started rolling on our beds, trying to go to sleep.
I prolly only got 2 hours of sleep. Woke up, got ready and left for grandaunt's house coz the body is gonna be brought there. Ouh yea. Dad woke our Maid up at 3+am..apologized to her and told her bout my grandma and that my grandaunt needs help to prepare the house for the day.
So my dad and our maid left home at 3+am..poor bibik..she only had 1+hrs of sleep =/
Reached grandaunt's place at 9+am? Heard that there was a long queue for post mortem. WTF! We waited and waited. My grandma's body was probably brought back at 1+pm.
Bathed then last goodbye whereby family members are allowed to kiss the forehead of the deceased and the rule is that your tears should NEVER touch the deceased..if not, need to rebathe I think.
Although mum claims that grandma didn't take care of us, I still remember the little memories we shared since young till now. When I saw her I was a little shocked and started crying coz I was just feeling so damn sad.
Knowing what she went through. Seeing her die in that state. It's just so pitiful and like..I dunno how to say..it's just damn sad..
Heard my aunt talked to my other uncle Nasri. Heard she said that late grandma left the world right infront of her. You know the pulse thing I mentioned earlier..I heard she said she saw the thing keep getting lower and lower till it became nothing.
Then she talked to us about the post mortem. My grandma was transfered to SGH from Tan Tock Seng. Reached SGH at 8am. Post mortem was long queue so her turn was like 12+pm?
I couldn't go to the cemetery as I had no fate :(
Dear grandma. Please forgive me if I have ever done anything wrong to you. If I ever said bad things behind your back. If I ever did anything that hurt your feeling or just simply any wrong. I am so sorry and I hope you can forgive me. I too have erased every other thing that I had ever taken to heart.
Even if till your last breath you claim you only have one grandchild who is Firdaus, you are still our grandma to me and my sis..thanx for teaching our mum how to cook "Nasi Jagung"..it's a great recipe to pass down to the next generation.
Thanx for taking care of me and entertaining us when we were kids. I'm happy that you don't have to suffer THAT long but I still wished that you had gone to the hospital earlier :(
I learnt my lesson. No matter how scared you are, just go to the doctor without hesitation. Prevention is definitely better than cure.
I am ANTI-POSTMORTEM THEN, NOW AND FOREVER. I don't believe in torturing a body. What makes you think the body dont feel pain?? =.= I know you're afraid of foreplay but still..I dunno la I'm just anti..

Death Cert wrote cause of death: Advanced Rectosigmoid Carcinoma. Date of death: 25.01.09 Time: 0203 hours. She left us at the age of 70 years old.
I think the long term of cause of death means Advanced Colon/Upper part of Rectum Cancer..its a kind of cancer la coz she drastically lost weight so to the people out there, please dont do this to me..sick, go doctor ok..I hate post mortem..
And my mum got injured today =( Needa wait for doctors to open after CNY..urgh! =.=

Sometimes..just sometimes..it's a psychological matter.
For example, blowing a sax. Apparently you're having probs pitching low notes. You blame yourself coz you doubt it's the instrument's fault. You suck means you suck.
So one day you decide to do an experiment. For instance, you took a sax neck from another case and used it. You could play low notes ever so easily. Then you used your original sax neck back and once again, you had problems pitching low notes.
So, is it the sax neck's fault, or is it still your fault?
Do take note that not too long ago, you got a cloth stuck in your sax neck. To get it out, people played tug of war between your cloth and your sax neck.
People burn your cloth which was in the sax neck. People pulled the sax neck. People knocked the sax neck to get the cloth out.
So, is the sax neck seriously the cause of your difficulty in pitching low notes? Or is it seriously a psychological matter where your brain blames the sax neck and expects the other sax neck to make things easier for you? And it really turned out to be easier for you coz the brain said so?
There's only one way to find out..

Last night's band prac was awesome..only 23 people came (excluding Cynthia)..lemme see..
Ended like 8.40+pm. Went to eat with Great Grandpa Zhe Xing, Great Grandma Raz, Aunty Aqidah, Mummy Aaron, Little Sister Tan Min (who is still in Aaron's womb actually o.o) and a family friend, Wei Qi =p
It was a total L.O.L! As in Lots Of Laugh..laugh till throat pain =.= Stomach also pain =x
Took 8 with Mummy and Ah Yi and met Malia, Bee Yong, Kai Sing and Wei Hong in the bus..normal route home lo..nothing much..me and Ah Yi were damn noisy in 161 =x More laughters :D

Right. K firstly I'll blog about last night's prac. It sucks. I CANT FREAKING PITCH FREAKING LOW NOTES LA!! And it's annoying..Mark says more air..I no air =x
Seriously my skills just drops and drops =.= Now I can't play low notes..wtf..seriously..I also can tell I got no air..urgh =.=
And everytime I stop trying and blankly stare at the score, he will come up to me and test me again. Stressful leh. I mean yea I know he's trying to help me..I know how to play but I can't pitch the note..I'm stressed and pissed enough.
I'm hating myself..urgh! =.=
Ouh yea. And Dalston is back. He told me to hold low notes..I can only barely reach 8 counts. HOMG la. You're supposed to hold atleast 16 counts ok yani =.=
Ouh then me and Dalston 'watched a roach'. It's not a game. It's something factual. Coz our sectional area suddenly got 1 roach arh. I just wanted to go in the band room where it felt safe =x
But Mr Tan was still inside with the ensemble :( So Dalston was quite calm while I was like those 'run-far-far' kind =x Then he slowly walk so I was like "You very calm hoh?" Then he said "I don't mind seeing cockroach as long as they don't land on me."
o.O But still!! It can fly anytime what o.o K maybe I'm just different. I rather run far far for safety =x
Dalston said Mark looked stressed. Dunno if it's coz of the test that he had today or coz of me. I hope it's not coz of me la. I know I suck at playing :(
Enough of band story. Now to talk about something related to my blog title.
Seriously. Maybe. Just maybe it WAS funny the first time. But if it's gonna be a daily thing or like more than once a day, it's definitely not funny anymore.
It get's annoying. Seriously. Enough of the $100+ la.
K look I know I'm dumb. I'm wrong to go for hair treatment and cut my hair which cost a total of $123 out of my $1000 SIP money from Sept and Oct 08.
My fault la I'm stupid. You say my new hair makes no difference. I thought what I did was good. I was thinking. Well yea maybe I did waste $$.
The punishment you gave me for cutting my hair was that it's non of your business anymore. Although I'm a lazybum and you used to only take 8 minutes to tie my hair, I didn't really see that as a punishment.
At the age of 20 going 21 I finally got independent enough to take care of my own hair. How long am I supposed to expect you to keep tying for me right?
Although I take hours preparing my hair and always end up being late, before I leave home I always ask "Is my hair ok?"
And all I get is "Up to you la..you already wasted $100+ what.." or "Ofcourse nice la..$100+ what.."
That is like SO SARCASTIC even a monkey can tell that it was sarcastic.
I've had enough seriously. I was so pissed I scolded her =x
I mean HALO!! LET IT GO ALREADY!! I CUT MY HAIR LAST YEAR, WHY ARE WE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT NOW?? MY SIS HAS SPENT MUCH MORE $$ ON HER HAIR LO..I ONLY SPEND ONCE..ONCE IN MY EFFING LIFE. PATHETICALLY MY THIRD TIME TO A SALON TO CUT HAIR! 21 YEARS, 3 TIMES. NICE OR WHAT??
And then you say it's coz I used internship money while she only did her hair after she got a permanent job. Ok fine. Well I'll just hope the remaining $1005 SIP money will make you happy coz I ain't touching it.
I still got $80 left out of the $1000. o.O Quite bad hoh? Nvm I'm saving up now :D Preparing for Jonas Brothers World Tour just incase they decide to include Singapore..hehe! =x

And so I set my alarm at 3.45am. I'm damn good at snoozing la. Woke up at 5.30am =.= Tini woke up earlier than me..haha! But I was luckier coz I got in Room 2 while she was in Room 11? So in conclusion, highlights of today's chat: 1. They did warn us that they haven't eaten yet and that we may see them eat and stuff so yea. 2. Frankie is a science geek! =x He kept asking Chemistry things like "the atomic weight of Carbon" o.o LOL i forgot all those crap..that was so 5 years ago O.O 3. Honor Society is their good friend from New Jersey. Never heard of them before today =x 4. Today's chat had alot of singing..excluding Honor Society, they probably sang short phrases from 4 or 5 songs. 5.
